Lol! Usually before you leave the hospital someone will come talk to you about breastfeeding and may even give you a packet with all the dos and don'ts like your first doctors visit. If not ask for the info before you leave. The biggest things are to contiue to stay away from or watch consumption of high mercury fish and alcohol consumption. Most of it is trial and error, my oldest didnt like mexican food so she would nurse less if I ate it, my youngest was not a fan of cajun foods.
Lol ok thanks yea I heard this dumb thing like Dont eat watermelon while breastfeeding or the baby can die or dont eat pork meat its bad for the baby im jus like really I didnt know breastfeeding limits the things u can eat but I guess some babys probably can react to certain goods differently then others
You can eat cabbage... You can't place the cabbage on your breasts
Can't eat cabbage or bathe your boobs with soap. It dries the milk up.
There's no reason you can't... A wide variety of goods is good to have that way the taste of your milk changes frequently... When baby is exposed to a variety of tastes they are less likely to be a picky eater later on
I ate anything I wanted. Never had an issue with spicy food. Never drank alcohol tho but that's just cuz I don't drink. There is nothing wrong with watermelon tho while breastfeeding. Some babies can't tolerate the way their moms body breaks down a food tho so like my sister couldn't eat any dairy anything while nursing because her kids would react badly to it. But then they are fine with it now since she quit nursing them.
Oh ok I heard u couldnt eat watermelon when u bbreastfeed
Alcohol and certain meds of course, try to limit spicy foods and foods that cause gas until you know how baby will react to them.
