I'm a radiology technologist and have to deal with patients as well. Luckily I don't work alone so I have help with moving/lifting patients. I still get back pain though, especially when we are busy and I'm running crazy. A coworker told me about using a back support. I invested in one and plan to use it tomorrow at work. Maybe a back support would help you as well.
For me, I'm doing a call center job and its sitting on a chair all day. I'm 26 weeks and my back has been hurting on the right side since I started work 3 weeks ago. So really, anything even like constant sitting I think can put a strain on your back. :(
I was working as a cna up until yesterday. I'm 9 wks and now she doesn't want me lifting more than 20lbs... They put me on disability but I actually just got a call for a much better job with my social work degree so I'm all set now! Good luck with everything! Hopefully you can find something less physical.
Being pregnant is very hard on the back a lot of people end up with bad backs even when doing nothing
I pulled my back out while changing the garbage at work. It was so painful. I couldn't take time off though. I had to work through it. I still have issues if I sleep wrong.
