Im going to enjoy myself this summer and jump in a river or lake. No one told me i cant and i really doubt ill have a miscarriage being in a river or lake. Some doctors are way to over protected.

Wow thats just crazy never was told that...i dont see why not. Really whats wrong with swimming in river and lakes. I can understand the ocean because of waves being strong...but i googled it and it doesnt say anything about not swimming in lakes and rivers it actually say its safe

Lol with my first i was preggo in summer and it was HOT!!! Looking forward to the cold but i wont get to show my belly off as much :-) have fun at the lake!!!

Oh also regular pools arnt always clean... i hate swimming in peoples p iss lol much reather be in a river or a lake at least the pee goes down current lol

My doc just said when i go swimming use sun block...  thats crazy never heard of that.. i have friends that went swimming in lakes and rivers pregnant. Where i usually go its a spring fed river.. so its clear you can see down to the bottom. Chloeeddy i think i would rather want cooler weather when prego... but summers are good too.. because of swimming love it!!

does your doctor say it's safe to swim in lakes ponds rivers? my doc said no swimming in any water but clean pools.

Lucky u!!! Its nearly winter here in australia and its looking to get pretty chilly!!! :-)
