super stressed

I am extremely stressed out. My dad is going for major surgery Tuesday, I'm still trying to figure out my maternity leave at work and my husband and I have been battling the past 2 nights. I know I probably sound crazy and paranoid, but is all this stress bad for the baby? I'm 21 weeks. I'm sad, I'm angry, I'm anxious all at once. It's this bad for my baby? I read that some emotions can "rub off"on the baby.

Thanks for the help. I am hoping this all passes sober than later. My pressure has been running higher than normal from all this stress. Sometimes you just want to run away.
Thanks again

The first thing is, I'm sorry for everything that's hitting you :( The next thing is, this is a period of major emotions. But, just that. A period. Not the normal. You are going to figure out maternity leave. You're dad will come out of surgery. You are going to get through all of this. And things will be back to normal. It's usually intense, prolonged emotions that those studies focus on. I'm sure baby is going to be fine. ;) you take care of mama & baby will follow. Hope all works out soon for you.
