pregnant ladies with kids

Hi, just found out I'm pregnant and I have a 9 month old baby. I was wondering how did you ladies handle being pregnant and taking care of your little ones? Is it safe to carry heavy things like car seat with baby? Etc..

My daughter was 7 months when I found out I was pregnant. I continued lifting the things that I was used to. Like her in her car seat. My doctor said just listen to my body. Just make sure and use your legs when you lift. Don't put all of the pressure on your back. Also, ask your doctor whay he or she recommends. All doctors have different opinions.

My daughter was 9 months when I got pregnant with my second!!! I cried my eyes out I felt like i wasn't letting my baby be a baby!! I had a rough pregnancy I couldnt carry her car seat or anuthing heavy I felt terrible like the worst mom in the world!!! But I had a high-risk pregnancy..... you should be fine as long as you don't feel any pain I wouldn't worry good luck

I was the same and my DD will be a year in two weeks and I'm 15 weeks pregnant. The first trimester is the hardest (especially if you have morning sickness). I didn't, but I get super tired. Thankfully my hubby is a student and can take her most days for a couple hours so I can get a nap. I say don't worry about housework if you can help it, just sleep when your 9 month old naps and let her play on the floor when you lay on the couch.

You'll be fine. Doctors usually say, don't do anything out of the norm physically that you didn't do before the pregnancy. Like if you weren't big on exercising, then pregnancy isn't the time to go hard in the gym, light walking would be best. Well since your body is accustomed to carrying your 9 month old, it should be fine physically on you now that you're pregnant. I'm on my fourth child and all of mine were close in age
