I want to make it by myself  it seems to be very simple. I so fancy california rolls only with crab sticks and avocado accompanied by kikkoman sauce of course

I've been having California rolls throughout my pregnancy and all is well. I even ate a lil bit of ceviche the other day which I shouldn't have, but baby is still kicking.  If u have it from a reputable establishment, ur fine.

California roll is OK to eat. I had a lot of pregnant customers ordered it. It has imitation crab(cooked), avocado, and sesame seed. Oh I want to eat it now. Lol

California  rolls are typically  made with imitation crab  meat so i would assume its safe but double check with  your dr. also sushi isn't recommended  like others have said because  its raw so there is an increased risk of food poisoning but there isnt actually  anything  in it thats bad for you while your pregnant. i know plenty  of moms who ate it threw out there pregnancy(but made sure it was good quality and a clean resturant) and sushi is a staple part of Japan's diet so im sure moms to be there eat it. its just about whether  you want to take the risk. food poisoning  isnt fun for anyone  but it can be more dangerous while pregnant. its the same reason we are told to avoid deli meat, soft cheeses and undercooked  meat (i miss my medium raw steaks)

Trying to remember what is in California rolls?  The rolls that have no fish in them are typically fine like cucumber rolls.  But raw anything when pregnant isn't recommended. good luck
