If your having headaches and dizziness or swelling in your face too, please call your doctor. I'm going through this right now and I'm under the microscope for preeclampsia.

MamaMacMurtry is correct. Also don't put your feet above your heart as that requiresyou to lay on your back which you sshouldn't do for more than a few moments. Place a few pillows under your feet and just elevate your legs above your hips, the fluid will slowly drain in a few minutes. Also the tingling in your fingers is normal its caused by the swelling which is putting pressure on some of your nerves. I'm 34 weeks and i have the same issues. It'll go away after pregnancy not immediately but in a short time.

If this is a recent & sudden or exceptionally severe ocurrance, I would call your doctor. Do you have swelling in your face too? Puffyness around your eyes? Any headache, dizzyness or change in vision? These can be early symptoms of preeclempsia-which can be very serious if not treated.

i've heard that if you eat too much salt your feet swell up more. but i dont know. i was like that at the end of my last pregnancy. i would lay on the couch with my feet propped up and it helped a lot
