swelling

So I'm 32weeks and I know some swelling in the extremities is normal with pregnancy. And I'm going on Monday for an appointment anyway so I'll ask my doc But I fell Thursday. Went yesterday for fetal monitoring and got admitted for a few hours due to Braxton hicks and the fall. But when I mentioned that my ankle was extremely sore and much more swollen then I know it should be they didn't seem all that concerned. I know they're more worried about baby But I can't even flex my foot without my ankle hurting extremely bad. I've elevated iced relaxed it and nothing has helped. Since I'm going again Monday I'll be bringing it up again during both my ultrasound and monitoring. I'm thinking I might have sprained it but I don't know. If they don't do anything about it I'll be marching my hormonal pregnant booty right up to the clinic up stairs and throwing a fit! I don't like being in pain and I'm an active woman so I want to know if I have to stay off it and how long before I do more damage

I know it's not exactly a question but any moms have any idea to either ease the pain or reduce the swelling other than cold and compresses?
