swelling?
OK so I woke up today and all of a sudden my left foot hurts in my arch and on the bone above it and my whole ankle and foot is swollen. I didn't hurt it seeing as I'm on bed rest ankle nd have been doing just that. Resting. Has anyone had this happen to them? I have a little swelling in my other leg and my hands but my left one is worse.
It went down today but the pain is still there. I see my doc weekly right now so I'll see her tomorrow.
I definitely would call yr doc right away. It happen to me before but once I elevated my foot the swelling went down.
It can be a sign of something worse, particularly if only on one side... Get it checked out as soon as you can...
I read that if one is more swollen than the other if may be a blood clot or something. Call your doctor.
