Too much swelling on feet hands and face (called edema in med term) should be reported promptly!!! I dont wana scare anyone but it can be a sign of highblood pressure aka eclampsia.I would call the doc to be on the safe side.k, RN

I have been swollen for weeks. My hands hurt all the time because of it. I can't even bend my fingers all the way. My doctor said there isn't much I can do. Just braces and decrease the sodium intake.

Swelling is part of pregnancy, so it's normal. If you get too much swelling I would talk to the doctor cause you could have edema. Stay away from salty foods and drink lots of water, this should help with the swelling
