I had brown spotting and pain for three weeks 5-8 now it has gone for two days. I went in last week to ease my mind had a u/s baby measuring right on and I seen it's little heart beating 170 beats per minute ! You can always go get checked out. My doctor explained everything is sensitive down there.  Brown blood = oldblood. Take care!

As long as you are not bleeding bright red blood brownish spotting and back pain is completely normal and nothing to be concerned about. I am 8 weeks almost 9 and I still continue to have back pain. Congratulations and good luck!
