Moms of children 1 year apart

what are the things you like about having your kids so close in age? My baby is due September and my daughter will be 1 yr 6 months.

My daughter and younger son are 11 months apart it awesome my son learns everything much quicked because she helps him. He was potty treined at 1 1/2

I haven't had mine yet but they will be 1 year 13 days apart as long as she's doesn't come sooner. She will be a csec because I can't do vag :-( 55 days or less and can't wait.

I'm 12 weeks along and my daughter is 10 months... So they'll be 16 months apart! We're in the same boat! I'm nervous and excited. I know it's gonna be hard work. I hope that they'll be best friends and that my daughter will never know anything other than having her sibling in her life... So no jealousy and hopefully good at sharing too! We'll see! God bless!

I don't have personal experience as the mom of 2 kids that are so close in age, but I do hve personal experience being the younger sister to a brother that is 13 months older than me.  He is my best friend... wasn't always, because we both went through those "needing mommy" phases at the same time, and vied for her attention.... But ultimately, I am so glad to have a sibling so close in age to me.  We literally grew up together, and my brother never real knew what it was like to be an only child, so I'm sure ethat helped the transition into big brotherhood.

How did u ladies go getting back into shape- fitness and strength wise rather than size. My best mate is 12 weeks and her daughter is 10mths. Im worried for her, rather than the kids- she's done her back with the older one and it hasnt healed at all. Shes in pain all the time, to the point where she can't sit- docs orders-lay or stand.

Babybrown2...you and ur sister sound exactly like myself and mine!! We are exacyly 1 year and 1 month apart, and everything you described is us!!! Lol

My kids are more then a year apart but my sister and I are about a year apart and for us we hated each other fought all the time we hated when our friends wanted to hang out with the other but the older we got the less time we spent together the more we get along and the better our relationship was but it all depends on personality I believe me and my sister could be any more different and my brother and sister were 5 years apart they were so much alike and she did everything he did they even had some of the same friends

My two are exactly a year apart. They are a boy and girl and are best best friends. They do everything together. Everyone told me how hard it would be but honestly it hasn't and they are almost 4 and 5 now. Wouldn't have changed a thing.

My three have an 18 month gap and a 15 month gap so they are packed together closely. They are interested in the same things at the same time from an early age and always have a friend to be entertained by. It is crazy busy at first, but then you have the baby years out of the way and they grow up so close because they do everything together. There is nothing like it :)
