GBS test/cervix

When they do the GBS test do they also  check to see if you are dialated? I am 34 weeks and they said they were going to do GBS next week as my first baby was early and they didnt have time to test and we are guessing this lil guy is also coming early! I was never checked for dialation last time until i was in labour!

You don't have to get checked. Master of fact you can ask to swab yourself so they won't have a chance to be sneaky about it and still check. At no point, even during labor do they HAVE to check how much you are dilated if theirs no medical reason. You don't have to do anything you're not comfortable doing. There's no law

Thanks. I dont want to "stir" things up by having my cervix checked but this little guy is waayy lower than my daughter ever was.  I am worried he has engaged since my last appointment! Last appointment his head was "quite low" the doctor said but i feel he is even lower.
