taking two iron pills at once

I was wondering if I could do that. My doc told me to take them twice a day but he didn't say at once or what...

There is iron in the pre-natals that I take. So far I haven't had any problems with low iron or anemia. And I am 28w tomorrow :)
But if you have to take them I would take one at night and one in the morning. And definitely take with something containing vitamin C. Like orange juice. And make sure you are eating plenty of fruit and veg as that will also help iron absorption

No, you can absorb that much at once. It will just pass through.
Take it twice a day.

If you can handle taking them both at once then go for it. I had to take mine separately.

I take them once a day with the rest of my prenatals. Its fine, make sure you take a vitanin C tablet with it, it helps absorbs the iron faster.

Twice a day means one in the morning and one at night. Preferably with something like orange juice to help absorbstion.
