Hemorrhoids

I am only 22 weeks pregnant, and not very big, but I already have a hemorrhoid that is becoming a very big bother to me. It itches and hurts and bleeds a little. It has only been there for a few days now, I am using preparation H, tucks pads, is there something else I can use to make this go away fast or dealing with it eaiser? I am scared that if I am only 22 weeks, how bad is it going to get for another 18 weeks, or how many more am I going to get. I am just in a lot of discomfort, I don't want to even leave the house in case I have the urge to itch. UGH sorry for all the TMI, any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I'm 20 weeks and found yesterday that I have one too. I was surprised also because I'm not very big & have made a conscious effort to never push or force while going #2 to avoid getting hemroids, but apparently that didn't work. :(

Mine are horrible i definitely have hemrroids.  Very painful i think I'll have to ask my doctor for something too. And use preparation h "/ but laxatives may make it less painful and bothersome.

I had them before I got pregnant and they have only got worse since. I have been constipated too so my OB said to take Colace daily, milk of magnesia, or prune juice. She didn't give me any advice on the hemmroids themselves, but did tell me they will shrink after pregnancy. Hope you're feeling better soon.

A nice warm bath in witch hazel should help... Just run the water like usual and then pour in the witch hazel... just sit and soak ib it for a while.

Oh my, I've just been told that I have them as well but they are more painful when I poo than itchy. My Dr prescribed a steroid for me (haven't filled yet) but also told me that it's temporary relief because they won't technically go away till after birth. Ugh!
