tattoos while pregnant? !

Ok so my fiance wants to be married before baby comes and yes so do I but he has this one stipulation that I get a tattoo covered on my wrist first, the tattoo I got when I was 18 of my first husbands name (very stupid I know) we had it set for it to be covered before I got pregnant but surprise baby had other plans lol well he's realy pushing it he even found a tattoo artist willing to do it in shop.. im not comfortable with this I've heard its very bad to do so I've tryed to pull up stuff to show him but everything just says cause risk of infection he says well you have tons of tattoos it won't be an issue, I need some opinions, please no bashing im not stupid I dont do anything while pregnant im the most cautious pregnant woman on the planet im just having a hard time getting him to understand and be ok with going ahead with wedding then covering after our little girl is here..

Cover it up for the wedding some other way... flowers, jewelery, gloves ;)

On no terms do you get a tattoo whilst pregnant, he is being incredibly stupid and selfish to even suggest it let alone putting this kind of pressure on you. If my man was doing that to me I would say fine don't marry me my baby's health is more important.

So maybe get him to go to them and say he wants to make an app for his so many weeks pregnant gf and maybee he will understand when they turn him away :) I know that probably sounds harsh but if he won't listen its worth a try

I highly doubt you will find a tattooist who will do any tattoo on a pregnant person

I have a lot of tattoos but I won't get one while I'm pregnant....come on, you're only pregnant for 9 months. U could get it covered anytime after that

The stress as well as if you get an infection can affect the baby as well. Best to wait untill she has arived.

Dont do it... I have a bunch of tattoos aswell but i wouldn't want to risk anything going wrong plus cover ups are intense they need more ink and more scarring can happen and greater risk of infection. If that's the only way he is willing to marry u I say wait till the baby comes.

Tell him your immune system is lowered while pregnant, and while you may not have had issues with infection before...now you would be at a higher risk. Have your doctor talk to him.
