If u really try everything and still can't get fluids in you. Go back to the hospital and ask them to hook you to an iv until you can keep some down. It's so imperative that you get fluids in you. You don't want baby early! Or risk anything else. Good luck!

I had the flu over Thanksgiving and I was 16 wks at the time, ginger tea helped me with the vomiting,  I drink plenty of water and orange juice,  it just seemed to last forever because I couldn't take anything,  sorry hun I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy

You were dehydrated and they gave you iv fluids, right? I hope so. Anyway try drinking mjnisxule amounts of liquid at a time. Seriously one teaspoon and that's it. It'll barely be enough to even reach your stomach before absorbing into your body so it won't make you throw up. Sucking ice or ice pops helps too.

I had the flu at the beggining of my pregnancy. I went back to e.r for same thing they gave me an I.v and sent me home with a prescription for gravol. Gravol helps and is safe. Good luck dont hesitate to go back not good for you nd baby to be dehydrated

Take small sips. Try different temperatures of water. Or try Gatorade

Plus the flu shot only covers certain strains of the flu. If you can't keep water down, try hard candies, ice or 8ce popd, ginger ale (flat) or ginger tea...anything to get fluids into your system. Good luck sweetie, bring sick and pregnant is awful. I had a nasty stomach virus a few weeks ago...kept drinking water and ginger ale, even with the throwing up, if some of it is absorbed it's better then nothing.

The flu shot isn't as strong this year. We found that out after we got ours.
