the end of my final journey

Well tomorrow is my last day I will ever be pregnant.it has been a long road in one of the most miserable pregnancy ever.I was sick the first 17 weeks and found out I had gestational diabetes at32 week s. I have an 8 year old little boy and will be delivering my little girl Tuesday morning.I have been counting down the days and hours of the end of this pregnancy, but now I must say it's bittersweet.I am having my tubes tied as I know that I do not want anymore children since this was so bad.I think it's finally hitting me that I'm never going to experience this again.I cannot wait to meet my little girl but I think I'm going to cherish this last 24 hours.

they will give you the 3 hour glucose test and then they will see how higher levels are.they will probably just start you with a diet if that doesn't work you'll go to medicine and worst case scenario you go to insulin...good luck

Thank you, I am 39 weeks today and they are taking me scheduled c section...I'll tell you this the diabetes gets harder the further along you get the bigger your placenta growth the harder it is to control your blood sugar levels.I noticed that the first few weeks I Had It it was very easy to control with some medicine.now I'm taking even more medicine and I'm noticing I'm getting some pretty high sugar levels after eating meals I normally use to eat.I don't want to act like its the worst thing in the world it is manageable but it is hard to diet when your pregnant
