I did nothing to really try to lose it and with minimal exercise, normal diet, and not breastfeeding, I got back to prepregnancy weight in 8mths.
Yeapp what junemommy23rd said... I gained 50 pounds with my first lil man and lost 20 instantly I watched what I eat I breastfeed which that helps alot to tighten back up.. and I lost the other 30 in less than months.. I looked hotter after all that :-)
I gained like 40 lbs with this one, and in 6 weeks, not really changing much, just breastfeeding I lost 30 of those 40 in 6 weeks. I lost 23 lbs in the first week. I'm still quite overweight, but seeing the numbers drop on the scale is a little extra motivation. I will get out and exercise, but we have been prisoners in our house because the second you walk out the door, you get attacked by hundreds of mosquitoes. Also, at some point in the end of pregnancy with my edema in my legs/feet, I ended up getting cellulitis in my foot making long distance walking painful.
Anyway, point is, breastfeeding helps drop the pounds. Exercise and healthy eating will also help you get back in shape faster.
staying active while you are pregnant helps too. you can sign up for mom and me exercise classes too. they teach you exercises to do while caring for your baby - walking around with the baby is a carrier or stroller is good way to get back in shape and get the baby to nap.
and do breastfeed - my cousin is now thinner than she was before she had the baby a few months ago
Exercise. Exercise. Exercise.
Every BODY is built differently.
Exercise and maintain a healthy diet and you should be fine.
To tighten your stomach do any exercise that benefits your core muscles.
That's not true. Lol I started at 112 ended up 139~140 lbs and once I gave birth in one month I lost it all, later on I stayed at 98lbs making me underweight. ..
Go back to your normal eating and exercise habits after baby. With baby you really only need about an extra 300 calories a day. Unless you are exclusively breast feeding, after birth cut out the extra calories and when you feel better, start some light exercises. You will lose weight if you try.
Whoever told you you stay fat after having a baby sounds like a very lazy ignorant person lol. Breast feeding helps. As does eating only for one person and staying active like the lady before me said. But you can't expect to lose the weight by doing nothing.
No that's not true you know why some people stay Fat because after they give birth they continue eating for 2 and eating at night. My friend started eating healthy and only drinking water and loss 50 pounds in one month no lie she gain 80 and lost 70 in 2 months.
