She's arrived!

So at 38+3 I'm still working full time. 430 pm rolls around and I feel like I'm getting cramps so I go to the restroom and I'm spotting. Call the dr they say stay home since there is not real contractions yet. Leave work at 5, pick up my daughter from daycare, head home, eat dinner, shower... bad idea I wasted far too much time timing contractions thinking they'd go away. Left for the hospital sometime around 745-8 and had Esme Jane at 918 pm 7lbs 7oz 19 inches long. By the time we got to l&d there was no cervix left I had a bulging bag of water! It was all sooo fast! Congrats to all you mommas I wish you a speedy delivery good luck!
