travelling to high altidude?

We have been invited to go on a trip to the Eastern Sierras with family in July (would be pretty much free) but the cabin is at 9400ft.  We would stay over night at 6000 ft on the way there to help acclimate. I would be about 15 weeks at that time. I live at maybe 700 ft, I have staged at 9800 ft before with no acclimation night before and was fine, but I wasn't pregnant. I'm not high risk in anyway, my research just says if you feel unwell at altitude rest and be sensible.
Has anyone travelled  to high altitude while pregnant before?

I live in the foothills of the sierras.  I live at 2000 but hike week at 6000 (30 min away) and family lives 2 hours away in the high sierra, which we visit often. Traveling at altitude is safe in pregnancy.   Keep it under 12,000 ft all of prego.  Don't change altitudes after 36 weeks,  including flying bc the plane is pressurized to 8000 ft.  These suggestions come from our dear friend who is an obgyn in the mountians.  Have a blast, often prego women feel great at altitude bc of your extra blood volume! I always get mild altitude sickness above 7000 but not since prego! Good luck and have fun

Interesting. If was going to be third trimester I wouldn't attempt it for sure. We are thinking out just staying near by at 7800. Good flag about bringing the medical record. I am in very good health and exercise as much as my fatigue and nausea permit ;)

But after I returned home, all was well. I lost my mucus plug over the next week, but carried baby to my due date.

Yes. I was living in San Diego and I am from the sierras. I traveled home for a wedding in my 31 week. After a few days I started bleeding. Ended up in the hospital in Reno. Basically I was chastised for changing elevations though my doctors in CA didn't day much against it. Be careful and travel with your medical record of that is your plan.
