So 3 days ago my hcg levels were 474 and today they are 4157..is this normal? Is this twins? Is this bad?? The Dr did an ultrasound and saw the gestational sac as well as the yolk sac but no fetal pole just yet.

You don't necessarily always see two sacs.   If the twins are identical,  Like mine are, they share the same sac.  YOu'll just have to wait until you're closer to 6 weeks.   I found out it was twins at 5 weeks 6 days via ultrasound.   But I had a feeling that it was twins from the very start.

You would see 2 sacs on the ultrasound.  But one could be hidden and your doc missed it. 4 weeks is very early. When is your next app? They should check again. I had my first ultrasound at 6 weeks, doc saw 2 sacs but one was much smaller than the other so she didn't get my hopes high on twins. But guess what, it developed and im having 2 boys, because they're in 2 diff sacs i will only know if its identical or not through DNA when they're born.

It could be twins.   Those numbers are very similar to what mine were.   How far are your?   But it might also just be one. .. apparently hcg is not an accurate predictor
