fetal movement?

I'm almost 20 weeks and i keep getting asked if I'm feeling the baby move yet. I did once last week...and since then nothing, or maybe a light twinge in my stomach, but that easily could have been food digesting too!! There's no 'flutter' or apparent 'kicks'. Just wondering what other peoples experiences are for how movement feels, or when you started feeling it consistently. Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing! I'm 19 weeks and have felt some kicks and flutters for the past 1-2 weeks, my son felt him last week. But nothing real strong or consistent. I was beginning to wonder if it was him or not at all and was getting worried! Thanks for asking and for the responses. I feel better now!

If you started to feel it at 20 weeks then you probably weren't wrong. I would wonder at first if it was baby or a gurgle in my tummy. Even now in the last month if kicks and movements aren't strong enough I wait till another to count for kicks. I didn't feel it consistently until about 26 weeks. Its funny that when people ask you a bunch it makes a person wonder if they are normal because the same question cones up again and again.

I'm one of the lucky ones that got to feel it early.  Mine started at 14 weeks. I am now a day or so shy of 17w, and I feel my little one allthe time. For me its like muscle spasms but super low, I love it. But it does keep me up at night sometimes. Enjoy the stillnesswhile you can, you will have plenty of time to feel the kicks. :-)

My kicks/movements started at 19 wks. What you're feeling sounds exactly the same as I felt. Don't forget their little baby bones are soft still so he/she won't be felt all the time but they'll get stronger and stronger xx
