worried

I'm turning 40 weeks tomorrow and my doctor hasn't change my due date he has it till the 26 . Is it bad ?

no, a lot of doctors will allow you to go over 40 weeks as long as everything is okay.

Okay so your due date is tomorrow and he wont induce til 42 weeks...  what is wrong with that??

maybe the fetal age & gestational age are what's causing the confusion.. I found this to maybe explain it? not sure..

"The fetal age is another term that refers to the actual age of the baby starting at the time of conception. So typically, fetal age is going to be two weeks less than gestational age."

I'd just ask my doctor to clarify though.. your due date that is.

maybe something got a little confused? because yes, I'm due Oct. 24th & I should be 40 weeks..

Im confused. If youbare 40 weeks tomoro.. then thats your due date. The 26th would put you at 42 weeks.
