Getting comfortable after birth

Hey all you already mommas, I was wondering.  I know everyone is different, but how long did you find it took getting comfortable in your own skin again after birth?
I know I'll be exhausted from being up with baby etc etc, and typically uncomfortable from the birth itself, but did you find that getting comfy in bed or on the couch etc came easier once the big belly was gone?
I know it takes time but do you find you start feeling like the normal you again or just a completely different person now that you're a mom?

I had epidurals so I couldn't get up immediately but you really do start to feel normal pretty quickly. I needed to sleep with a pillow between my legs for about a wk bc of stitches but that was the only bad part for me.

As soon as I delivered my daughter it was such a relief all the pressure and being uncomfortable was gone I felt to so good I delivered my placenta got straight up and took a shower. Your belly will feel funny kind of like jello but not like and overblown ballon like it does now or at least thays how I feel Now at 30 weeks
