update

I had an ultrasound today to see if my placenta moved into place and away from my cervix. Well it has! Yay! But...they found a second placenta..smaller but complete. Only one baby and she looks perfect.. so not sure what this means. Other than that I have to deliver 2 placentas. Hmmm....

Thanks :) and for sure about the net! Everything I have found online is terrifying but the dr was all "it's no big" type attitude! Lol Her only concern is the second is still marginal.

Great news and so happy for you. Yes research can be quite terrifying but always listen to the doctor before you listen to the net. Good luck and Congratulations!

The biggest thing is I really should be banned from research on the net. Now I'm terrified of the possible risks of having a double placenta! Aaaggghhh! No more online research!

Thanks :) The "true" placenta moved totally clear and the second one is marginal... so not as strict on the restrictions! Yay! As to the twin possibility.. it could be. Because my last pregnancy was twins with only one making it.

Hey Shas, congrats on your placenta migration! Its always such a relief. Are you clear of the previa niw then?
As for the other- is it possible you were carrying twins but one didnt sprout, so to speak? One of my friends has had that happen with several pregnancies. Nature's weird sometimes.
