upset that it's a boy

Found out we are having a boy last night.  I cried a lot and we are on vacation and will be bumming around and shopping a lot. I feel ok now but im worried if I come across little girl clothes or items I'll have a mini melt down in the middle of a crowded place :( yes, before you judge, of course I'm happy that baby is healthy, it is most important but I am so so sad.  I feel like a bad mom, but I can't help that I'm so upset. I already have a 5yr old son and he was happy for a baby brother but even when I was pregnant with him I was hoping for a girl.  I know we can always try again for a girl but I don't know if I want to put myself through this again because with my luck it will be 3 boys.  :(  any one else feel this way or any advice?

I CRIED TOO!! My fiance  was upset with me bc I was crying. However I have 2 daughters and am 27.2 weeks with yet a 3rd girl. I cried my eyes out. My nurse and ob both kind of acted like I was nuts. But I was crushed I wanted a boy soooo bad! Plus I'm getting my tubes tied so this is the last try.

Ladies I wish I were u.I like boyz I hope tommorw on my visit to the doc we are going tobe lucky enough to see the gender of my baby becoz I had 4scan but had never been luck .my baby is so secretive heyyy.

I do understand how you feel I'm a mother of 4 boys and I always wanted a girl I remember how I used to get baby girl clothes thinking I was gonna have a girl for sure and every ultrasound I was disappointed and cried I do love my boys with all my heart and I can't picture my life with out them they so lovely and they all momma's boys lol now I'm finally pregnant with our princess yes baby #5 and we are all excited !!! God knows what you want and he will give it to you !!! God bless you !!

Well I have 2 girls, praying this is my boy!  I'm sure I'll cry too or feel sad if its another girl because I really want a boy. This is my last,  so I'm making it a surprise.  Its normal to feel kinda bummed, but yea you could always try again for that girl.  Lets b happy your oldest son will have a buddy & gets what he wants :) you'll b more excited about it later.

I felt the same when I found out I was having boy #2.  I went shopping to try and get excited for another boy and that didn't help at all.   I was hoping the rest of the pregnancy that the tech was wrong.   If course once that say baby boy is in your arms it won't matter at all and he'll be loved.  I'm so happy that we had a boy because watching the brothers together is very sweet.   I'm pregnant now with a girl and damn is it expensive to buy all new clothes and girl themed items.
