Call insurance. Some insurance companies will give them away with prescription.
Ill look into getting the replacement parts. It still seems like it would be way cheaper to just the replacements rather than a whole new pump. Thanks ladies
You can sanitize them and buy replacement parts and it would still be cheaper then buying a brand new one.
You aren't supposed to use someone else's flanges, membranes or tubing, but they sell accessory kits for a reasonable price. A used machine is perfectly fine.
I don't think so. You can sterilize all the parts that have touched the other persons breast milk. Or buy new ones. I gave my friend $40 for an almost brand new Medela double breast pump. They usually cost like $350!
I'm getting one from my sister in law and I just bought an accessory kit for it that has replacement parts.
No that's fine, and you can use the steam bags to put the beast part and steam clean it in the microwave like you would the bottles
also, it's not too expensive to buy new flanges or tubes. it's the motor that's expensive and I see no problem buying that used, but I would probably replace all the parts that touch milk
They're expensive Ill probably have to buy a used one. Plus you could sanitize it yourself
I borrowed one from a friend with my last baby. But I don't think I could use a strangers even if I sanitized it. There is an ick factor to me even though it's probably all in my head.
