My braxton Hicks have never been painful, and like I said before I still get the exact same sensation, my daughter is head Down and on left side, so when it happens on my right I know it contractios. Again not painful, I've been getting them since about 18 weeks.
It's most likely the baby, the baby sleeps rolled up in a ball. I can feel my baby move then I will be uncomfortable because she will be on one side and it will make my belly lop sided. And it's hard to the touch. If you drink something cold or even a soda it'll wake up the baby and the baby will move.
Braxton hicks contractions are painful and will come and go like real contractions, some times it'll go away on its own, other times you will need to get a shot from the dr to help stop them.
Yes they are contractions, also make sure to drink lots of water.
I get that too and I always thought it was just my baby. Is it too early to get them at 19 weeks?
No they shouldn't hurt. Totally normal as long as they are not consistent and don't last a long time :)
Thanks! That didn't even cross my mind. It doesn't hurt or anything, just a weird feeling. Thanks for the advice!
Oh, and you probably notice them in the a.m. when you wake up because your bladder is full. That triggers them. If you change positions or empty tour bladder you'll see they go away. Dehydration can also trigger
Braxton hicks contractions. I first started getting them during or right after sex, exact "balling up on one side" I too thought it was my daughter and mentioned it to my OB, she told me it was definitely BH, now I'm.33 weeks and can obviously tell where my daughter is at, and still get the same sensation. Its normal :)
