vanishing twin syndrome?

Has anyone ever experienced this? I would like to hear ur stories I am not sure if that's what's happening to me I have all signs of miscarriage but it appears my baby has grown so the doc cannot proceed with anything until I have confirmation that baby is alive or not have not heard heartbeat yet it could have been too soon it was 6 weeks measuring according to last weeks ultrasound

My friend was told she had a miscarriage to later find out that she was still pregnant and had lost one of twins.

She had signs of miscarriage. Its what prompted her to go to the er. They told her she had lost the baby they had no idea there was two.

Do u happen to know did she have signs of miscarriage and decreasing hcg levels? But then hcg levels went up? Mine have consistently gotten lower but only by approx 200 every 48-72 hours but baby showed growth during ultrasound

My sister had that and she still had one of the babies. My nephew just turned 6 and has no problems. Wish you the best of luck.
