varicose veins

Anyone else having trouble with them? They run in my family and I got them for the first time halfway through my first pregnancy and now in my second pregnancy they are "flared" up. I also started back at work do I'm on my feet a lot. I wear compression socks which help but is there anything else I can do to relieve the pain?

I have them really bad too. Only got them with my girls and they don't run in my family, just my hubbies - lol
for the most part, keeping weight down and drinking lots of water are all ive  noticed that can help. I refuse to wear the compression hose....its too dang hot yet! Mine recede after delivery but I have a couple that stay nasty during my period and Advil helps, so until baby's born I just tough it out and try to prop my legs up any chance I get, not often. Thats the only thing that seems to help the pressure/pain.
