Mine was sore for a week straight. :(
I got mine about on Monday. The pain went away yesterday...
What is it for I havent heard of that one
Got mine Tuesday. Finally my arm feels normal again. Only sore when I slightly squeeze my upper arm.
You are supposed to move it a lot after so it doesn't get sore but I took my glucose test right after so I was just sitting doing nothing, haha. For whooping cough bc babies can't get that shot.
The tdap is for tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis the shot is to protect against the diseases. I think they give it to you at your gestational diabetes testing. I had my testing done yesterday and I am 28 weeks it hurts so bad
I also had my glucose test taken right after as well awww this is no fun
In glad to know I'm not alone. I felt like a baby! Hahaha
My arm hurts to after the dtap ..I had it before but I don't remember it hurting this much.. I feel Like someone beat the crap out of my arm..
Mine was pain free but I got the flu shot in my other arm and it was sore the next day and I have a bruise
I didn't feel any pain getting the shot or afterwards either.
Staci_day you are so lucky I feel like my arm is going to fall off I can't lift it at all
Is it mandatory to get that shot and the whooping cough one. My midwife hasn't mentioned any of these to me. 28 weeks
Lol yeah ik I thought it was supposed to make you really sore but it didn't. Lol I was freaking out bc the needle she was holding was huge and I turned my head and started freaking out and she laughed and said I already gave you the shot. And no it's not mandatory. At least I don't think it is. I was asked if I wanted the shot.
No Sara, it's not mandatory- no vaccines in the US are. There has been a resurgence in whooping cough which is why they are offering it, even if you've been vaccinated as a kid.
Thank you ^^ makes sense now.. but do most women get these types of vaccines?
