wage worries

In the lead-up to Xmas and with a March baby on the way, I'm starting to stress about money matters :( Hubby and I both work full-time, have a mortgage,  cars, bills, all that stuff. We can't live on one wage as it is and to top that off, in Australia I'm only entitled to 18weeks minimum wage pay/maternity leave (which isn't a lot). I'm looking for tips and tricks and some advice about how to possibly manage this? Not feeling much peace of mind :(

Yeah jeez. Most jobs find a way to screw you out of anything in the way of maternity leave here in the states. I have a march baby due too so i picked up a seasonal job to help with holidays

I would say my biggest piece of advice would be to breastfeed! As long as you can...its FREE formula is stupid expensive. And be setting aside what you can here and there.

Try looking in second hand stores for all you baby purchases and if you don't already have a baby shower planned get one of those planned and that'll help a lot. Also start setting aside money now like $10 or $20 a week whatever you can afford to help with baby purchases such as wipes, diapers, and formula if not breast feeding after baby is born.  Also start looking at your budget now and see what you can reduce or eliminate.
