Monistat... won't affect your pregnancy at all.
There have been no studies done to prove that the medication doesn't affect baby
However my dr said canestin 7 day.
Do not take the oral monistat.
I used the walgreens brand and it worked fine for me. Yeah dont use the oral though.
Cranberry juice! Lotsss of it :)
Cranberry juice is for UTI's, if you drink lots for a yeast infection all the sugar will actually encourage the yeast to grow :) natural approaches include taking probiotics and even putting probiotics up your vagina. I find that natural methods only seem to work if you treat it straight away - otherwise I use canestan creams (5 day) and try to cut out sugar and carbs (especially yeasty bread) for a few days as well
Thank you ladies because this is my first yeast infection as well and it is common during pregnancy. I plan to get something today.
