warning! !

Hey ladies don't know if you've seen it on FB or the news yet. There has been a warning issued, reminding moms not to let their babies sleep in the car seats.  Babies are are being killed by being brought in, in their car seat and left to finish napping.  This happens due to the lack of suport to their neck, cuzing them to suffocate. Tell you it sure has made me re-think about letting my baby sleep in his swing or his rocking chaire. As soon as he falls a sleep, he is in my arms or his crib with the breathing alarm on, on his baby monitor.

Blessings and please be careful.

Why don't we all just use those little head supports that are made for this exact thing?
My daughter had one in her car seat and she was always slightly reclined in her swing/chair so I don't see how this can be anything but the parents not realizing they can buy a little head support cushion.

Its an angel baby monitor.  Its great it has a pad that goes under the mattress. The pad has springs for collecting the breath movments.  There is a dial on the monitor that you can set for how sensitive you want it to be. And if baby stops breathing, or in my case take the baby out of the crib with out shutting it off, it will sound off a high pitch screatch.

Angelcare makes one.  I got it off amazon.  I love it...except at night when I take baby out to nurse and forget to turn off the sensor lol!
And thank you SaSa for the warning.  I never let my kids sleep in their car seats...but this is baby number 3 so I may have but now I know not to!
