water breaking question

Does anyone else have visions of your water breaking during sex?  The doc said he could feel babies head and fluid sac at my appointment on Monday and that's all I can think about!!!

My water DID break when I was having sex!!!! My husband was like "what was that".... Hahahahaha!!!  It was really embarrassing because when we went to the hospital, everyone asks what you were doing when your water broke.

LOL you could pick up some incontinence pads from the chemist just in case, I heard of others lying on a shower curtain or buying the incontinence pads that the oldies wear cause they are super thick lol.

Yeah it wasn't particularly pleasant. I'm just glas I was in hospital and got them broken artificially, I would have died if they had went in Public lol x

Oh no!! Being in public is another fear.  I have had my water broken with my other 3 pregnancies but have never had a doc say they could feel the fluid sac before I was in labor.  We just got a new bed too and my husband asked if I was going to use a pee pad to protect the mattress!!

Lol sorry, if it makes you feel better the Midwife DID say I had a bit of excess fluid - she estimated that 3-4 litres came out when she broke them (it soaked the bedsheets, her scrubs and dripped to the floor...not nice)    I had to stand up on top of two incontinence pads holding the bedsheets round my waist to try maintain some dignity so a nursing assistant could strip the bed down and wash down the mattress and make it back up again, and it still poured :/   Midwife had to go change her scrubs and everything    It finally stopped but then with every contraction (started 15 mins after my waters broke, every 3 mins for 45 seconds) a little more came out, I literally had to change my pad they gave me after every two contractions cause it just kept coming.     x

Lol my waters were "bulging" at 41w, I had sex every day from then til the day before my son was born (I had to get my waters broken to be induced as he wasn;t coming) and obv they didn't break.,....it's something you would know was happening though lol, it's honestly the most disgusting feeling ever, having them go.   Mine just poured and poured and poured x
