I am 35 weeks and haven't slept in 8 months.  The most I get is 2 hour stretches. I think I might of slept a total of 2 hours last night. I have an appointment on monday and I am going talk to my doctor on what I can do before the baby gets here.

I fell ya ladies. I'm 29weeks today. It takes me forever to get comfortable, then once I do I gotta get up to pee, then it takes me forever to fall asleep. The last 2 weeks I've woke up every night at 3am (my daughters play time) and my dog my sense it because she's always right by my bed breathing right in my face when I reach down to get my phone to check the time lol. I miss sleep bad, one of those things you dont realize until its compromised!

I found it hard to sleep for a few reasons. I got up every two hours to use the restroom, which is better than not getting up. I had hip pain, which a pillow between the knees and more cushion on the bed helped. I had heartburn; don't eat for a few hours before bed and nothing spicy or acidic. I had insomnia which required naps but then I could still sleep at night but went to bed later. It depends on why you are not sleeping but time for naps will be your biggest ally. You need the sleep or at least time to sit and rest.
