weight gain

I'm 24 weeks and have gained 14 pounds. I was considered "overweight" prior to conception since I was 150lbs at 5'4. This app says I should have gained between 12-15lbs but a fight weight calculator per week, it says my weight gain is excessive. You???

I think you are just fine. I am 32 weeks 4 days and have gained 24lbs. The so says I've gained an excessive amount but I don't think so at all. I gained 43 total with my daughter but delivered her a day she of 42 weeks. My Dr always says 1 pounds per how many weeks you are.

Honey I gained 70lbs with my first lol. Second I gained only 35 & trying to stay around 20lbs this go around bc I'm starting at 195lbs. I doubt ill be able to do it unless I actually go to the gym & do cardio. Dont worry about an app...just eat as healthy as you can for that sweet baby & enjoy it!

I'm 31 weeks now and have gained 31 pounds, app also says excessive gain but I can't diet, I'm pregnant so guess I'll just deal with it when baby arrives. My midwife doesn't seem concerned.

According to this app I am under weight, but my doctor only wants me to gain 0-10lbs. So I just put my weight in so I am able to keep track for myself. The app is just a general suggestion and unfortunately doesn't cater to our individual needs.

The app says excessive weight gain for me, but I ignore it. Baby #4, I know I gain a lot when pregnant, and my Dr's have always been good with my gains lol.

I was overweight before pregnancy at 190 and 5'6 (I lost 60lbs before pregnancy) and I've gained 23 lbs at 25 weeks... my Dr said I'm fine and its strange because its literally all in my belly. I stopped putting my weight into the app because it would say excessive and I'd cry... just try to eat healthy and stay active, your fine and definitely not alone.

Thats the only part of this app that my doctor doesn't like - he says every woman and every pregnancy are different. I was 150 (avg) pounds before pregnancy and stood 5'4" (never told I was considered overweight, though) - I've gained 50 pounds and I'm 36+3. My doctor says I'm completely healthy...

I lift weights though, my bmi before pregnancy was about 10%. It's only about 18% now - I still work out as much as I can. I know that affects it significantly.

Anyway, my point is that if your doctor isn't worried, you shouldn't be :-) Weight is only a number, girly.

That's how much I gained at 24 weeks. I'm 25 now and I gained 2 lbs this past week because of Easter and my birthday lol I started at 123 and I'm 5'6" so I wasn't considered overweight but I still don't think that's alot for you. My app doesn't say it's excessive either

I really wouldn't worry bcc I'm only 13 weeks and I've gained 5. Just as long as your not over eating u will be fine. Just be attentive and don't let it get crazy. Good luck hun !
