Question for ladies who've gotten pregnant after a miscarriage!

Ladies... I'm curious to know how long it to you to get pregnant after your miscarriage & were you actively trying? And by actively trying, I mean monitoring ovulation & having intercourse on fertile days.

5 months for me. I feel like I would have got pregnant quicker if I hadn't had a D&C and got completely cleaned out. It seemed like an eternity to get pregnant again, but was well worth the wait :)

I'm sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage in November 2013 and just found out we are expecting. The first time we were planning and this time was unexpected. I'm 9 weeks pregnant and scared. I had my mc at 8 weeks. Doctor said to give my body at least 4 months/cycles to reset my body. I tried and pray everything goes well this time around. Best of luck to you!

Thanks so much ladies. I'm just so nervous it will take forever for me to get pregnant again. I know my body will decide when it's time, but I want this so badly now. I feel like I was jipped. I miscarried the end of Feb, so I think I'm going to start trying my next cycle.

I miscarried June 2013, became pregnant 2 months later in august and am now due in 4.5 weeks on June 1st. Yes we were trying both times. Good luck to you! It's a really hard thing. I became severely depressed and took it harder than I ever expected I would. Keep your head up

I miscarried in July last year and I was pregnant again 6 weeks and 2 days later. We weren't trying and it was the first time we were intimate after the D&C. I get to meet this little one in 4 weeks!

I had 2 miscarriages, one in 2008, another in 2009 (not trying) then we actively tried. Doctors, tests, dye study, ovulation, sex on fertile days for 5 years. We are finally pregnant :) my miscarriages were both around 4-5 weeks. This time I am 13 weeks and 5 days and I've gotten an ultrasound and heard the heartbeat at both of my appointments. I'm still nervous, and I worry. But I'm trying to stay hopeful. This precious baby has me and hubby and all of our family filled with an indescribable amount of joy <3

Had miscarriage last May was told to give my body two cycles to recover and then we could start trying again. Had my cycles in june JULY and August but was late in Sept and found out we were pregnant again. We just barely started actively trying again. I downloaded an app to track my cycles and give me the days most likely to conceive and not even a month later we were pregnant again.  We are due in 30 days. Good luck!

I had a miscarriage in February and had one period in march after. We wanted to wait to try again because we had some problems in our relationship and I felt my body wasn't ready; but we had an accident and I took plan b.  well plan b didn't work and I'm now 8 weeks pregnant and so far the baby is healthy.
