I'm due Sept 15th and my midwife said that between weeks 20-28 are when most women typically gain the most amount of weight. Between week 20-24 I gained 6 pounds, and between week 24-28 my husband and I plan on taking leave from the military and will eat like there is no tomorrow back home (where stationed far away from a lot of foods we like) and I plan on probably putting on about 6 more pounds. Just be healthy and cautious of your weight. I monitor mine everyday, and started writing down everything I eat. Its upsetting sometimes but needs to be done. Also stay hydrated! That's an important part of weight gain in pregnancy.

You suppose to gain 25-35 lbs for entire pregnancy. Anything above that I would considered excessive weight gain.

I have always done that in the middle of my pregnancies and so did my mom and sister. Something about right smack dab in the middle we gained a lot 1 month and then it backed off again. I wouldn't worry about it honestly.

I gained 10 lbs one month and I also about flipped. This month though I haven't gained a pound. So I definitely wouldn't worry, especially if your doctor hasn't said anything.  Just keep exercising;)
