I am a concerned about my weight gain. I think I may have slowed down a little when I found out I was pregnant I weighed 108lbs at 7weeks now I'm 23weeks I weigh 124lbs. Last night I had to go to the er because my sugar dropped to 63 and they diagnosed it as hypoglycemia... Do anyone have any suggestions my doctors everything's OK when I go in for my check ups the baby growing and where it needs to be I'm just a little worried still

Your weight gain is fine hun. The main thing is to try to eliminate as much sugar from your diet as possible (no artificial sugars either) and eat lots of protein. You should treat hypoglycemia almost exactly as you would treat diabetes. I know that's not always easy, but high protein & lots of veggies will help regulate your blood sugar. If you get a sweet tooth, eat fruit, not sweets. You'll do great!

If your doctor thinks your okay and baby is doing well then I would try to not worry. You don't need to gain tons of weight to have a healthy baby and you may not fain the same amount every week. I gained more between some appointments than others but my doctor never said anything about it. I would only worry if your doctor is concerned and notes that you need to gain more or less.

I think your weight gain is fine. I'm 19 weeks pregnant n gained 7 lbs. In my previous pregnancy I gained a total of 17 lbs. And it's always better to have low blood pressure then high. I always had low n everything is alright. When I deliver it's usually in the sixties. Right now it 80s
