what is the different in a contraction then a spasm

i am 24 weeks and this is my first child and i have been feeling the baby move there are times where it feels like the baby is doing flips in my stumice .would that be considered a contrition or just a spasm

i feel it kick too when it dose flips in there it fells like when you have a upset stumice and your stumice will turn that is what it feels like to me they happen several times a day

From how I understood the equation I would say your baby is flipping around in there! I am 15 weeks + and I have felt him flip 3 times and felt him kick 2 times

Honey that's just the baby moving. Most times you won't get practice contraction (Braxton Hicks) until you're a little further along, although of course it is possible. Also it's ok to not feel the baby move constantly at that stage either. Baby won't consistently move until about 30 weeks. That's when your doctor will make sure to have you count 10 movements an hour after each meal.
