baby movements with anterior placenta

I am currently 17 weeks pregnant with my second child . I recently had an ultra sound and they told me I have an anterior placenta and it might take me longer to feel baby movements. If any of you have the same placement of your uterus, how many weeks were you when you felt "for sure" baby kicks? I'm getting impatient ! :)

I do and started feeling her at 19+4 and am now 26+4 and just now feeling her kicks more and at first it was just low and then off to the sides but she's getting stronger and I can now see my belly move around when she kicks.

Every woman is different. I had placenta praevia to start with and my placenta then moved to the anterior position by 20 weeks. I first felt her move at 15 weeks (my 2nd) and I noticed that when the placenta moved to the front she was a bit muffled. However the placenta has now moved front/high at 24+4 weeks and she batters all around it. If yours is anterior at 17 weeks I'd say your placenta will move to the top as your uterus expands over next 10 weeks and as it happens you'll feel more and more.

I have an anterior placenta and can feel movements non stop. I'm nearly 39 weeks and even then the movements aren't slowing down.....I can see and feel the limbs/foot heel popping out of my belly lol!

Thats how it was with my first. I didn't feel movement till i was 24wks. I found it helped when i reclined back or layed on my side. But as i got bigger i felt more movement. Just be patient and in time u will. :-)

I'm 18 weeks and am in the same situation. No movement felt but when I went for my last appointment, my nurse had a difficult time finding the heart beat because he was moving so much! I really want to feel him too but at least I know he is ok. Be patient, it will happen.
