constipation after giving birth?!?

Hello ladies i had my daughter a week ago a very fast labor with a succesful vbac. I did ripped a little and had to get a few stitches but it was worth it and the recovery hasnt being so bad as a csection. My only discomfort is constipation. I had my daughter june 27 at 12:09am and was discharge from the hospital sat afternoon. I had a bowel movement mon or tues afternoon. But since then i havent being able to go and like i said is just very uncomtarble. Anyone had this problem after having a baby vaginally? I dont remember being this bad after my csection 2yrs ago.

If you can stop taking pain meds! Those are horrible for constipation, I have issues everytime. Drink lots of water and try not to worry too much about it. Also lots and lots of fiber.

Youre probably on pain meds. Pain meds make you constipated!! Take laxatives or prune juice. But if you're breast feeding talk to dr

Eat lots of watermelon cantelope and fiber rich foods. If you ripped they should have given you stool softener.
