what to contractions feel like

Im 33 weeks 3 days pregnant with my first child my doctor always asks if im having contractions i always say know but i dont know what they feel like so what do they feel like and how do you know if you leaking fluid

Real labor contractions feel like menstrual cramps in ur lower abdomen.  The pain can radiate to ur lower back as well, like u would get them when ur on ur period.  The pains come and go and gradually get stronger. Braxton hicks contractions for me although they're uncomfortable due to the tightness, they r not painful at all.  Those r the only contractions I can describe..  hope it helps..

When you have a contraction your stomach tends to get very hard and tight and this increases in intensity as contractions become closer together...iv never had fluid leaking but if its clear fluid it could well be your waters
