I hear you. Fron what i hear, a solution always happens. I dont know your faith but keeping whatever/whoever you believe in will bring you and the baby peace. I just think whatever is meant to be will happen :)

My best friend went thru this. She went to a company that consolidated her debt. She'll be paying a little longer as a while but it left her with more money in her pocket for the baby. Also there are programs if your under a certain income bracket of course wic and things like that. And honestly the really expensive stuff you really don't need it's just a want. I'm a ftm and after sitting down and actually think in ng past needs and wants the list is a lot more practical. And a lot of stores have layaway for some of the bigger items. I put my crib, changing table, car seat, and stroller on them for 90 days just to give the little one more time to cook lol vs. Bringing them home right away. Those items will be paid for by my 30 week mark. Made things less stressful for me.
Refinance car loan, contact credit card companies to see if they have options for times of unemployment...my credit card companies waived my payments for the 12 weeks I was on maternity leave. A lot of other companies (students loans, car loans, etc.) Have these hardship options available. Breastfeed if that's an option and consider cloth diapers. Babies don't need too much, we just buy them cus it's cute. Hope things get better for you. Don't stress yourself out, things always seem to work itself out.
I feel you. I have quite a bit of debt and we were just developing a strategy for handling it when surprise baby happened. We also have a couple medical issues that cost a fair bit for dr visits and expensive prescriptions. And I help mom and dad with their bills and groceries because they are disabled and don't make enough to go round. So it's tight and frustrating. We make too much for any assistance. Plus we work nights so finding a night sitter is going to be very hard and if one of us changes shifts we'll probably take a substantial pay cut. :/ I am just trying to be as responsible as possible and trying to have some faith that somehow things tend to work out even if you don't know how. Probably going to end up taking some out of my 401k to pay off some debts and repay that at the lower interest rate over about 5 years. Trying to avoid ruining my credit score.
Definitely try refinancing the car. Local credit unions are great. I saved $120 a month by going to a CU and refinancing.
