when did you first hear babys heartbeat?

I'm wondering how far along you have to be for the Dr to let you hear the heart beat

Heard my baby's heartbeat at 8 weeks

Saw my baby's heartbeat on ultrasound at 8+3 wks, it was at a strong 169bpm.  Then at my 11wk apt my Dr didn't try very hard to listen to baby's heartbeat with a doppler cuz she said he was still really small and to not worry.  Well, I was worried until I actually heard it at my 15wk apt with a doppler. I got teary eyed and smiled, it was music to my ears.  I immediately felt at ease that baby is doing well...

Im going on for 16 weeks and my health visitor hasn't let me hear it ! I have seen the hart beating at 10 but other then that nothing and I will not see her for another !16 weeks as my appointment with her is at 28 weeks... I do have a scan for 6 of January to see if it's a boy or a girl ! Sooo hopefully then !

I saw and heard the baby's heart beat through ultrasound at 8 and 12 weeks.   We still can't hear it with doppler only and I'm at 14 weeks.

8 weeks and it was AWESOME!

IWe were able to hear ours at 9 weeks. Just depends on baby position and size of mommy. Good luck!

Heard mine today for the 1st time I am 13 weeks

I went in at 5 weeks 2 days and heard it. (Thought I was 8 weeks by my period but the ultrasound measurements said otherwise)

I saw my babys heartbeat at 7 weeks and heard it too it was my first appoitment and had a ultrasound...next appoitment was 12 weeks but there was no heartbeat babys heart stopped:(

When I was pregnant with my first I had bleeding around 6-8 weeks and thought I was having a miscarriage so I went to the er. They heard the heartbeat then. It can be heard pretty well around 8 weeks usually. That's when the drs office likes to start seeing patients around where I live. To hear the heartbeat at home with a doppler it might be a little later in pregnancy.

I found out about pregnancy at 9-10 week mark and heartbeat was only heard by ultrasound. Dr couldn't hear it without ultrasound until 16 weeks.
