Is sex safe at 37.4 weeks!!??

I'm 37.4 weeks already and hardly have sex because my husband is afraid.. I want to show him all the comments/answers that you girls provide.. So, my question is: What are the benefits of having Sex at this stage?

It's actually healthy for not only u, but for little one as well. It can boost ur immunity, lower blood pressure, burn calories, help postpartum recovery, and rocks the baby to sleep :-)

I'm 8 wks 3 days along with baby number six. And yes unless your dr said no or your water broke then have a blast enjoy it now without worries or getting pregnant. That baby is far up behind a closed cervix inside ur uterus and inside your uterus a sac. That baby is VERY protected and far away from harm. Good luck

Very safe! My husband and I make sure we do it once to twice daily lol. Trying to get this baby out! (Due tomorrow) besides, tell him get it while he can! It will be a long 6 weeks of healing.

Yes it is! Believe me he is no where near the baby. One benefit that I know of, well from experience is; it makes you dialate allot faster causing you to go into labor sooner. If that's not what you want, no intercourse lol gl
