I say pack around 36-37 weeks. If you go into labor at 36 weeks they usually try to stop it so i didnt see a point. I packed at 38 weeks and had to re pack because im being induced tomorrow so i will be there longer than i planned.

Make sure you bring comfortable stretchy clothes to go home in and your own feminine pads, because the hospitals usually provide old school sanitary napkins, and wearing a hospital pad home is like placing a mattress between your legs lol. Also, gum, nothing worse than being told to breathe,   or someone breathing on you with bad breath. A handheld massager, burn a music cd to listen to, hair ties to keep your hair back, you can get hit with hot flashes during labor. If you plan on breastfeeding make sure you buy nursing bras if you can and nursing shirts, if you can't @ least buy nursing pads, to ensure you don't leak on your shirt.

I did it on my due date an hour aftee myn water broke... probably notbthe ideal time but I wasnt having contractions

Yea lol it took me on baby#3 to finally think of him. So now with #4 i got him covered! Lol

If u google what to pack in a hospital bag for delivery they have some good list of things n u can go from there. Also u might want to pack ur support person a couple of things. For my husband im packing his hygiene stuff, a shirt,socks(cuz his feet stink), boxers. Just so if the labor is long he wont have to leave my side n then something happens. N snacks for ur support person too. Sorry for the long advice but i wish ppl had told me info instead of learning it on my own. Good luck!

Well u can start now or wait till ur 30+wks. I have started my list so when i remember things i write it down quick. U will definitely need 3 or 4 comfortable pj i say blk or dark colors pants bc u will be bleeding a lot panties(like granny kind lol), socks, 2/3bras(good ones bc of milk) all hygiene items,outfit(going home), slippers, n thats it. Of course a camera, charger, n the baby some clothes.
