when should i start to pack my bags

I'm almost 37 weeks. And I'm about to pack mine just as soon as I receive my duffle bag I just ordered off eBay! Excited! I don't have a bag, suitcase, nothing. So I just ordered one today for $20. It'll be here within 5 days. That's put me at 37 1/2 weeks by the time I get it packed. I'm not sure if all hospitals are the same, as far as what they provide you with. But I'd say go ahead and pack everything. Enough clothes to last you a couple days (for uncomplicated healthy vaginal delivery) and I'm not sure about c sections but I think you have to stay 3 days at least. My hospital provides soap, tooth brush, & tooth paste. But just cause I'm picky, I'm bringing along my own everything. They make you shower after delivery too. So shampoo and conditioner. Blow dryer if needed. Basically pack like you would if you were staying at a hotel over the weekend. And of course don't forget baby's clothes! They do provide you with pads, and diapers for baby, enfamil & bottles & blankets. It's up to you if you want to bring your own pillows and blankets. I recommend it, because theirs are usually tough hard and uncomfortable. Lol Good Luck mommy to be!

I'm 34 weeks and I've been reading pack at 36 weeks but what harm would it do now anyway?  Pack when you feel like it. I however am to lazy and will probably do it last min lmao

My water broke with my first at 32 weeks.  I ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks before delivery and had to rely on my husband running back and forth to retrieve things as I thought of them, so I'd pack it now.

I'm 25 weeks and I'm already starting to prepare a bag.. to me the sooner u do it means 1 less thing to worry about.

I'm almost 37 weeks and so far I've only packed baby's bag. I should probably get to packing mine. Lol My husband thinks baby will be early and the last time he said "go ahead and have that baby" when I was pregnant with our son, I went into labor. Lol

I would start packing now but that's just my opinion. You never know when baby will come. Some wait till later. It's all just personal preference.
